WINTER PARKING BAN

Pursuant to the provisions of RSA 41:8, 41:11, 47:17, and any other applicable Revised Statutes Annotated, the following Board of Selectmen of the Town of Freedom hereby ordain as follows:

Parking Ban – In Effect from November 15 to May 1

From November 15th to May 1st of each year, no person shall park any motor vehicle on any public highway at any time in such a manner as to impede snow plowing, snow removal or road surface treatment operations, or emergency vehicle and/or equipment access.

LABORER/TRUCK DRIVER

The Town of Freedom is accepting applications for a Full-Time Laborer/ CDL-B Truck Driver to join its Highway Department team.  Candidates must have a valid NH-CDL-B license, snow-plowing and heavy-equipment operation experience, and be able to perform the physical requirements of the job.  This is a full-time, year-round position.  Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check are required as conditions of employment.  Starting pay up to $24.00/hour depending on experience and qualifications.  The Town of Freedom offers a competitive benefits package including health, dental, life, and disability insurance, retirement plan, and paid vacation and sick time.
