Transfer Station – Hazardous Waste
AnnouncementsThe Transfer Station will not be accepting any hazardous materials at this time while we conduct a site clean-up and an assessment of feasibility for each item moving forward. Brush, C&D and metal will still be accepted for those with a sticker.

Velma Hormell Receives Boston Post Cane
UncategorizedAt the Selectmen’s Meeting held on Monday, June 7, 2021, Chairman Les Babb presented Freedom resident Velma Hormell with a proclamation and the Boston Post Cane. At 96 years young, Velma is the 25th Freedom resident, as well as the fourth member of her family to receive the cane.

UncategorizedOfficer Jamie Mullen was sworn-in as Freedom’s Police Chief during the Selectmen’s Meeting held on Monday, June 7, 2021. Mullen was promoted by the Board of Selectmen following Chief Josh Shackford’s announcement of retirement effective June 3, 2021.
