The office will be open for the Town Clerk and Zoning Officer only on 5/21 & 5/22 and be closed for Memorial Day 5/26.  Normal business hours will resume 5/27/2025.

Dust control measures will continue the week of 5/26 due to the weather.

VOTER REGISTRATION SESSION

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Freedom will be in session on:

Tuesday, June 3rd, 2025, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Freedom Town Hall

This session will be for additions and corrections to the Voter Checklist.

New Voters: Applicants for registration must provide proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile when they come to register. Please visit the NH Secretary of State website to learn what you need to provide.

At the Selectmen’s Meeting held on Monday, June 7, 2021, Chairman Les Babb presented Freedom resident Velma Hormell with a proclamation and the Boston Post Cane.  At 96 years young, Velma is the 25th Freedom resident, as well as the fourth member of her family to receive the cane.
