VOTER REGISTRATION SESSION

The Supervisors of the Checklist for the Town of Freedom will be in session on:

Thursday, October 24th, 2024, from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at the Freedom Town Hall [16 Elm Street]

This session will be for additions and corrections to the Voter Checklist.

New Voters: Applicants for registration who possess proof of identity, age, citizenship, and domicile should bring that proof when they come to register. Qualified applicants who do not possess proof, or do not bring proof with them may register if they sign an affidavit attesting to their qualifications for identity, age, citizenship, and domicile.

The Town of Freedom Conservation Commission and Forest Advisory Committee in conjunction with the Board of Selectmen, is seeking proposals from qualified vendors and contractors for the repair and enhancement of the access road to Trout Pond within the Town Forest.

Trout Pond Access Road RFP

The Transfer Station will be closed Monday October 14th and will reopen for limited hours on 10/15 from 8:00 am -12:00 pm . Please plan accordingly.

The Huckins Road reconstruction project will be begin this fall and will involve 3300 ft. of road beginning at the entrance of Camp Huckins and ending at 331 Huckins Rd. The project involves essential activities such as tree removal and sloping of dirt banks to create space for shoulders and ditches, culvert replacements as necessary, and reclamation of asphalt to establish a strong gravel base.
